Shawinigan Cataractes (4) – Moncton Wildcats (5) – SO
The Moncton Wldcats come out on top of a high-octane offensive showdown against the Shawinigan Cataractes. Detroit Red Wings prospect goaltender Rudy Guimond secured the win for the Cats with 34 stops on 38 saves before stopping two for two in overtime.
