On Tuesday night, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins forward Boris Katchouk skated in his 400th pro hockey game.
The 26-year-old from Vancouver, BC, is in his first season with the Penguins organization. He split his time between the Chicago Blackhawks, Ottawa Senators, and Rockford IceHogs last season.
As the third leading scorer on the Penguins, Katchouk has 19 goals and 44 points in 50 games.
Initially drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round (44th overall), Katchouk turned pro with the Syracuse Crunch in 2018-19, skating in 75 games.
After scoring 101 goals and 101 assists for 202 points in 199 games in the OHL, he’s compiled a stat line that includes 53 goals and 139 points in 223 AHL games and 15 goals and 36 points in 176 NHL games.
Although Katchouk hasn’t played with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2024-25, he’s already set career highs in goals, assists, and points at any level of his pro career.
