It’s an Original Six showdown on TNT tonight, as the Maple Leafs and Rangers headline the Wednesday night doubleheader.

The Rangers bested the Leafs in their lone previous meeting of the season. New York defeated Toronto 3-1 at Madison Square Garden back in mid-December. The two teams are scheduled to play once more this year after Wednesday, with that game coming on the final day of the regular season.
After the Bruins-Islanders contest, the Oilers and Blue Jackets conclude the night’s action in Edmonton.
Edmonton has won six games in a row, boosting their record to 27-18-3. The Oilers trail the Golden Knights, Kraken and Kings in the Pacific Division. Meanwhile, the Blue Jackets own the worst record in the league at 14-30-2.
The two teams will meet again in late February, with that contest taking place in Columbus.
