The Minnesota Wild (23-11-4) announced a few roster moves on Wednesday before they are off for their two-game road trip.
Star forward Kirill Kaprizov was placed on the Injured Reserve List to make room for a call-up.

Brendan Gaunce returned to the Iowa Wild on Tuesday and scored three goals. He has now been recalled again by the Wild with Kaprizov out.
Jared Spurgeon got hurt in the Wild’s last game on Tuesday and will miss some time. He is set to have an MRI on Thursday so we will await his status.
Nonetheless, the Wild needed an extra defenseman so they recalled prospect Carson Lambos from Iowa.
Lambos, 21, was the Wild’s 26th overall pick from the 2021 NHL Draft. It is his first time being called up to the NHL. He has two goals and five points in Iowa this season and has six goals and 19 points in 96 career AHL games across two seasons.
The 6-foot-1 defender recorded 31 goals, 97 assists, and 128 points in 176 career games with the Kootenay/Winnipeg Ice of the Western Hockey League (WHL).
If he makes his NHL debut on Thursday or Saturday, one of either Jonas Brodin or Declan Chisholm will play on the right side so Lambos can play his strong side on the left.
