The Winnipeg Jets have assigned forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan to the Manitoba Moose, it was announced Friday.
Anderson-Dolan suffered a broken foot just before the regular season and ended up on injured reserve as a result.
Having signed with the Jets as a free agent this past offseason, Anderson-Dolan joined the organization after playing for the Los Angeles Kings and the Nashville Predators last year. In a combined 31 regular season games, he collected four points.
Anderson-Dolan also saw a brief stint in the AHL with the Ontario Reign, scoring two goals in three games.
Drafted in the second round of the 2017 NHL Draft by the Kings, Anderson-Dolan has played in 127 career NHL regular season games over parts of six seasons, putting up 28 points.
As Anderson-Dolan gets set to play for the Moose, he will likely get a look with the Jets in short order. Having spent the majority of the past two seasons in the NHL, Anderson-Dolan has produced when given an opportunity and could slot in the Jets bottom six while playing an important role.
