The Winnipeg Jets rebounded from their only loss of the season with another lengthy winning streak that hit five games when they narrowly topped the Colorado Avalanche 1-0 on Thursday.
They look to keep their momentum rolling and become the first team in NHL history to win 14 of their first 15 games when taking on the Dallas Stars Saturday afternoon.

It’ll be a very challenging game for the Jets as the Stars are coming off a Western Conference Finals apperance and are 8-4-0 to start the season. They also hold the upper hand in this matchup with a 7-2-1 record over their last ten games versus the Jets.
The most interesting aspect to this thrilling showdown between two Stanley Cup contenders in the West will be if the elite offence or defence of these two teams will show up?
The Jets are scoring the most goals per game this season at 4.50, while the Stars have the third-highest average at 3.52 since last season. This will clash against a Winnipeg team that allows the fewest goals in the NHL since last season, with a 2.38 goals-against average, with the Stars close behind in seventh with a 2.77 average.
It’ll be tough to say which team will breakthrough in this one and should culminate in a epic matchup. The Jets will look to further limit the Stars postseason breakout star Wyatt Johnson, who has struggled to live up to his success in the Stanley Cup Playoffs earlier this year.
The Toronto native has a goal and five assists for six points in 12 games so far this season and will likely struggle again when facing off against Winnipeg’s Connor Hellebuyck.
Catch the game on Sportsnet at 2:00 PM MT, or catch the live broadcast on Power 97, the FM home of the Winnipeg Jets. If you are interested in attending, tickets are reasonable for Jets versus the Stars with the lowest pair being sold at roughly C$71.
