NASCAR is coming to Atlanta.
The NASCAR Atlanta race is set for 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 23 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. The NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is running a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 22.
While the race is going to be a fun experience, there is plenty to do ahead of the green flag on race day.
Here are five things to do around the Ambetter Health 400 NASCAR race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Available on Feb. 22-23, the Aaron’s Comfort Zone in the Fan Zone is where fans can have free access to:

Kids Zone at Atlanta Motor Speedway
The Kid Zone has a variety of free games including pinewood derby racing and other options to add enjoyment to the morning before the race.
American Axes
On both Saturday and Sunday in the Fan Zone, fans can show off their best axe throwing skills with the American Axes booth — for free.

Sea Lion Splash sea lion show
Sea Lion Splash is an entertaining and informative presentation that showcases the relationship between an “adopted family” of rescued sea lions and their handlers. In each presentation, our sea lion stars demonstrate how well they have bonded with their trainers, show off their natural behaviors and even teach kids how to recycle.
There are three shows each day on Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23. Saturday: 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 a.m. Sunday: 9:30 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m.
Canine Stars dog show
The Canine Stars educational entertainment act features a world-class team of dog trainers and their adopted dogs from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, The Netherlands and South Korea. The group has toured North America since 2012.
There are three shows on Saturday, Feb. 22 and Sunday, Feb. 23. Saturday: 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. Sunday: 10:45 p.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:30 p.m.
