Daytona 500 sells out for 10th consecutive season to begin NASCAR Cup Series season

The Daytona 500 has sold out for the 10th year in a row to begin the NASCAR Cup Series season.

Daytona International Speedway announced Monday the 67th “Great American Race” has sold out with all grandstand seating and camping sold. The approximate capacity of the speedway is 101,500 permanent seats with room for a total of 150,000 fans with camping included.

The 2025 Daytona 500 is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida.

The track said there are still tickets for additional events during Daytona Speedweeks, including the qualifying duels set for Thursday, Feb. 13.

When is 2026 Daytona 500?

The 2026 Daytona 500 is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026. This will be the 68th running of the Daytona 500, also known as the “Great American Race.”
