A famous rapper will lead the NASCAR Cup Series to the green flag at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Big Boi, a diamond-selling recording artist, rapper, songwriter, producer, actor and philanthropist will be the honorary pace car driver leading into the Ambetter Health 400 NASCAR race set for 2 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 23 in Hampton, Georgia.
Big Boi was half of the legendary hip hop duo Outkast and sold over 25 million albums and won seven Grammy awards and is the only hip hop artist to win the Grammy for album of the year.
In 2010, Big Boi made his introduction as a solo artist with “Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty,” which rose to No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200. His 2017 hit “All Night” was the soundtrack for an Apple Animoji commercial and picked up 40 million streams within a year.

In addition to his music career, Big Boi has made several appearances in film and television, including a starring role in the 2007 film “Who’s Your Caddy?”as well as his own RV renovation-based show on Hulu called “Big RV Remix.”

Fans wanting to just see the Ambetter Health 400 NASCAR Cup Series race may purchase tickets from the track’s website with prices starting at $65.
There are seats all around the grandstands fans may pick from.
NOTE: Sitting closer to the track will be less expensive, but the views of the racing may be limited. Sitting higher, while more expensive, will yield more sightlines of on-track action.

Fans can purchase a ticket bundle for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with prices starting at $97. The ticket to see Friday’s Fr8 208 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race also includes seeing qualifying for the Truck Series and the Xfinity Series.
NOTE: The weekend package sales cut off two weeks prior to the race weekend.
