The No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet bested Joe Gibbs Racing’s Ty Gibbs (90.158 mph) and Front Row Motorsports’ Michael McDowell (90.141 mph) to lead the NASCAR Cup Series field to the green flag in Sunday’s Grant Park 165 (4:30 p.m. ET, NBC, MRN Radio, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, NBC Sports App).
Tyler Reddick (89.923 mph) and Shane van Gisbergen (89.813 mph) rounded out the top five.

Bubba Wallace (89.674 mph), Christopher Bell (89.627 mph), Alex Bowman (89.230 mph), Daniel Suárez (89.115 mph) and Brad Keselowski (75.517 mph) completed the top 10.

Kyle Larson topped the leaderboard in practice at 89.549 mph over Shane van Gisbergen (89.435 mph) and Ty Gibbs (89.405 mph).
Daniel Suárez (88.881 mph) and Alex Bowman (88.874 mph) rounded out the top five.
