Sep. 1—NASCAR announced on its website on Thursday that the Cup Series will return to Iowa Speedway in 2025. The NASCAR Cup Series will be back in Newton on Aug. 2-3 with the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Hy-Vee Perks 250 and the NASCAR Cup Series’ Iowa Corn 350 powered by Ethanol.
The NASCAR Cup Series debuted at Iowa Speedway in June and the track was sold out for all three days.
“This is such an incredible win for NASCAR fans in the state of Iowa,” Iowa Speedway president Eric Peterson said in a press release. “Thanks to their support, and the support from our partners at Iowa Corn and Hy-Vee, we sold out the entire NASCAR Cup Series weekend this year. We can’t wait to welcome them all back in 2025 for what promises to be another unforgettable weekend of racing at the Fastest Short Track on the Planet.”
