The NASCAR Cup Series takes on the unique 1.33-mile Nashville Superspeedway for Sunday’s Ally 400.
In three races at the track, three Chevrolets (Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott and Ross Chastain) have won.
Last week, Christopher Bell slid around the wet surface at New Hampshire on wet-weather tires to earn his third victory of the season.

NASCAR predictions for Nashville Cup Series race: Here’s who wins the Ally 400
Mike Organ’s pick: Kyle Larson, No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet
The Ally 400 has not had a repeat winner. Not until this year, that is. Larson, winner of the inaugural Cup Series race at Nashville Superspeedway in 2021, heads into this race with great momentum and will win again. Larson is second in the points standings behind Denny Hamlin. Larson has two wins in 2024 and six top-5 finishes. He was fourth last week in New Hampshire.
Tom Kreager’s pick: Joey Logano, No. 22 Team Penske Ford
The man that was given the nickname Sliced Bread finally breaks through with his first points race win of the season. Logano has plenty of experience and this is his chance to lock himself into the playoffs. Logano always seems to qualify well here too.
Nick Gray’s pick: William Byron, No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet
Byron has a third and a sixth-place finish sandwiching a run outside the top 30 at Nashville Superspeedway. But this team needs to be more consistent overall; Byron had a runner-up finish at Iowa after finishing 30th at Sonoma and before last week’s 26th-place run at New Hampshire. As long as he keeps finishing up and down, I’ll pick him at the tracks in which he runs strongest. But for the playoffs? Those up-and-down results won’t fly for the No. 24 team’s championship aspirations in 2024.
