Cincinnati is mentioned among several cities as a possible future host site for a NASCAR street race event, according to a report in the Sports Business Journal.
Chicago has held a domestic street race around Grant Park. NASCAR hosted officials from other interested cities, including San Diego, according to the report. NASCAR declined comment as did the San Diego sports commission and the San Diego Mayor’s office.

NASCAR has not released its 2025 schedule yet. Cincinnati-based Game Day Communications representatives Jackie Reau and Betsy Ross are in Los Angeles, but both confirmed they’re not part of any NASCAR talks.
