The checkered flag is out at Circuit of the Americas for the NASCAR Cup Series.
Norman native Christopher Bell made a pass on Kyle Busch late in the race then held off William Byron to score the win in Sunday’s EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix NASCAR COTA race.
Bell won last week’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway and has two wins on the season. He’s the first driver since Kevin Harvick in 2018 to win two of the first three races.
Bubba Wallace won the first stage of the race after taking the lead late from Shane van Gisbergen. Ryan Preece won the second stage after taking the lead late during a pit cycle.
The race had four cautions for 15 laps and a total of 20 lead changes.
Here are the results from Sunday’s NASCAR COTA race.
