Manchester United Women have announced that Spain international forward Lucía García will leave the club this summer following the expiry of her contract.

García joined United from Athletic Club in the summer of 2022 and made 60 appearances over two seasons, scoring 16 goals.
She scored the winner in a derby with Manchester City towards the end of the 2022/23 season, before also bagging a brace in last season’s 4-0 victory over Tottenham in the FA Cup final.
The 25-year-old now leaves the club as a free agent, and has recently been linked with a move to Mexican side Monterrey.
