Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Marcus Rashford out of Manchester United’s group for several matches last month has sparked speculation about the forward’s future at Old Trafford.
According to Ben Jacobs of Give Me Sport, Paris Saint-Germain hasn’t made any recent advances for Rashford, but the club’s sporting advisor, Luis Campos, is keeping a close eye on the situation.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi previously held discussions with Rashford’s representatives, though further talks are unlikely unless the player signals a strong desire to join Paris. This measured approach comes after Rashford signed a five-year contract extension with Manchester United in July 2023.
Jacobs also suggested Rashford might be open to a move to La Liga, with Barcelona reportedly monitoring him. However, the club’s financial constraints could make a deal challenging, potentially paving the way for a loan move—provided Manchester United is willing to cover a significant portion of his wages.
AC Milan make demand for Marcus Rashford
According to Times Sport, AC Milan are reportedly set to inform Manchester United that they will only cover half of Rashford’s wages if a loan deal goes through.
TEAMtalk recently reported that Borussia Dortmund and PSG have both rekindled their interest in Rashford. PSG sees him as a versatile attacking option, while Dortmund views him as an important addition to bolster their squad.
Manchester United is reportedly valuing Rashford at around £50 million to £60 million, which fits into their broader strategy of managing the transfer budget by balancing player sales and acquisitions.
