Roma manager Claudio Ranieri addressed the media on the eve of the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16.
The Italian technician previewed the match against Athletic Club Bilbao.
“All the players are doing fine. The whole team is available,” he said.
“Hummels? The media always go looking for controversy, even when things are going well. There is nothing. We get along well with everyone.”
“I showed Dovbyk some things, told him where I want him and what I want him to do. His teammates try to serve him as he wishes.”
“In addition to the goal, I was happy that he celebrated against Como. I will ask him why this time he did it, but I am very happy to see him enjoy himself.”
“Athletic are much more than just Nico Williams. They lead in successful dribbles and one-on-ones. They are a quality side. We must be prepared for everything.”
“I will tell Dybala to have fun, the others have to run and fight while he should be having fun because that’s when he’s at his best. Champions of his kind need to be supported, they have a vision that others don’t have.”
“Pellegrini also has fun, but he doesn’t show it. I wish he was having more fun. He has a quality that many don’t have.”
