Artem Dovbyk spoke at a press conference from the Stadio Olimpico after Roma-Genoa, which ended 3-1 for the home team.
“It’s definitely difficult, a different championship from La Liga. I’m trying to improve, I think the Italian leagueis improving me because there are very strong defenders here. But I’m adapting.”
“Why am I not celebrating my goals? I’m just not fully satisfied with my performances. Yes I’m scoring but I can do better. I’ll celebrate on more important occasions.”
“The coach has asked his teammates to serve me more and I think you can see that on the pitch. Overall, communication between us is improving.”
“I don’t feel much pressure. I know that before me there was also Dzeko who didn’t do well in his first season and then we know what he did after that. I think it just takes time to find the right understanding. Playing with players like Paulo is better for me.”
“Since I set foot in Rome I immediately understood that there is a lot of pressure for a striker, but I stay calm and try to improve the understanding with my teammates and enjoy this moment.”
