Goalkeeper Leat leaves Aston Villa by mutual consent

Goalkeeper Anna Leat has left Aston Villa by mutual consent.

The New Zealand international joined the Women’s Super League Club in the summer of 2022 and made 22 appearances in all competitions.

A statement from Villa read: “After Leat expressed her desire to be closer to her family in New Zealand, the club wished not to stand in her way.

“We would like to thank Anna for her time at the club and we wish her all the best for the future.”
