Manchester United fought back from a goal down to beat Leicester City at Old Trafford and advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Joshua Zirkzee brought United level in the 68th minute.
Harry Maguire turned out to be United’s saviour with an injury-time winner.
Many eyes were on Patrick Dorgu who made his full debut for the club after joining from Lecce last month.
Manager Ruben Amorim surprised everyone by starting Dorgu in the right wing-back spot.
Amorim said (via Beanyman Sports): “He played a lot of times there and on the left. That’s one of the characteristics we paid attention to, to have a player like him.
“He was anxious with his first touch, he’s adjusting to a new league but he did well.
“He has pace, he has strength. He will improve a lot. We as a team need to play better to help these new guys.
“His position you can see on Wyscout that he can play both sides.”
Patrick Dorgu is a promising talent
The £29.4 million winter signing has showcased his versatility, playing in several positions during his brief but promising career.
He made his presence felt with 47 touches and an impressive 82% pass completion rate.
He won both of his aerial duels and also made two tackles and two interceptions.
He displayed his pace while keeping the ball in play.
A couple of sharp exchanges with Amad Diallo highlighted his ability to link up play effectively.
Although he started on the right flank, it would be exciting to see him on the opposite side, allowing Diogo Dalot to return to his more natural role.
With a few more training sessions under his belt, he could quickly prove to be an astute signing for the club.
