Rúben Amorim’s decision to leave Alejandro Garnacho out of the squad for last month’s Manchester derby has fueled growing speculation about his future at Old Trafford.
According to a recent Daily Mail report, Garnacho is no longer considered “untouchable” at Manchester United. Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Real Madrid, and Barcelona are all reportedly eyeing the player.
Although a transfer isn’t guaranteed, the report suggests United might entertain offers, with any potential deal likely starting at around £70 million.
The Daily Mail also indicates that Manchester United could be open to selling Garnacho, believing he could fetch a higher fee than Rashford.
Napoli have their sights on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s replacement
Michele Criscitiello of Sportitalia reports that Napoli manager Antonio Conte has decided he wants Napoli to sign Garnacho to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Sportitalia also claims that Garnacho’s agent has been in talks with Napoli, who are prepared to make a €50M offer to Manchester United.
Recently, journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG are optimistic about finalizing a deal with Napoli for Kvaratskhelia at a price well below the original €80 million asking fee. The current offer is over €60 million, with both sides not far from an agreement. A deal could be reached as soon as next week.
