Marcus Rashford was involved in an accident after Manchester United returned home by bus from their 1-0 away win against Burnley thanks to a Bruno Fernandes goal.
Rashford was involved in an accident with his white Rolls Royce once the players had left the Carrington training base. Some of the players left in their personal vehicles, though it is not known if the rest returned by bus, as is customary.
The 25-year-old footballer was not injured, nor were there any arrests by the police, so far.
The car is valued at almost one million euros, similar to the price of teammate Bruno Fernandes‘ vehicle, who is said to have helped him to get out of it.
A team spokesman confirmed that the accident involved another person and his car, but fortunately, both drivers are fine and the damage was only material.
While the incident is an isolated one, Manchester United‘s problems away from the field continue to grow. In addition to the controversy with Jadon Sancho, who is sidelined, like Antony, the team will now hit to see if anything else comes from the car accident involving Rashford, who is one of several players who haven’t performed as well at the start of the season as they did last season.
