Milan’s difficulties in completing a deal for Marcus Rashford are paving the way for their signing of Kyle Walker, who is reportedly willing to move to the San Siro and has agreed personal terms with the Serie A giants.
Despite rumours linking them with a move for both Premier League stars, the Rossoneri knew they could only sign one between the Manchester United star and the full-back, as they remain with a single non-EU slot available.
Milan shift focus to Walker amid Rashford difficulties
After being dealt a blow in their race for the English striker, with the Red Devils informing them they wouldn’t contribute to his salary in case of a loan deal, Milan were persuaded to accelerate talks for Walker.
According to Calciomercato.com, Manchester City could be open to terminating the 34-year-old’s contract, which expires in 2027, after seven and a half seasons at the club, as the English international informed them to be willing to try a new experience.
Both RedBird advisor Zlatan Ibrahimović and coach Sergio Conceição are reportedly great admirers of Walker, believing his defensive versatility and experience could prove invaluable to this Milan side.
