Milan have almost a full squad available for Saturday’s showdown with Juventus, as Alvaro Morata and Matteo Gabbia are back in full training.
It kicks off at San Siro on Saturday at 17.00 GMT as Serie A returns after international duty.
The Rossoneri received some good news at the Milanello training ground today, because Sky Sport Italia report that defender Gabbia returned to work with the full squad for the first time since his injury.
The 25-year-old has been out of action since sustaining a muscular problem during the 3-1 Champions League victory over Club Brugge on October 22.
It remains to be seen if he will be in the starting XI on Saturday, where he is in competition with Malick Thiaw for a place.
Fikayo Tomori is the only guarantee right now for the centre of that Milan defence.
Milan absentee list is shrinking
There is also a boost with the return of Morata, who had to spend a night in hospital after an accidental collision with Strahinja Pavlovic in training left him with head trauma.
The striker had already recovered and played for Spain both against Denmark and Switzerland, but this should be his first start since that knock.
Luka Jovic, Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi are still out of action.
