After only three seasons back in the Premier League, Leeds United suffered relegation on the final day of the season and will be playing the Championship next year. The relegation followed two windows of furious spending that saw Leeds bring in three United States stars — including midfielder Weston McKennie, who arrived on loan from Juventus.

Wett: McKennie was “too busy liking my posts” to focus on soccer
In quote-tweeting a prominent Twitch streamer, boxer and OnlyFans model Astrid Wettclaimed McKennie was spending too much time on her Instagram and subscribing to her page instead of adapting to Leeds‘ relegation fight
Wett backed up her claim by posting a screenshot that showed McKennie’s verified Instagram account liking six of her photos two days before Leeds’ relegation was confirmed.

Adding insult to McKennie‘s injured ego were Leeds fans at Elland Road, who shouted “you fat b*****d” at McKennie during the 4-1 loss to Tottenham that confirmed the team’s exit from the Premier League.
McKennie faces an uncertain future following Leeds’ relegation, which came after the club sacked American coach Jesse Marsch. Parent club Juventus will not be in next season’s UEFA Champions League following a points deduction, but McKennie — the Texas native with 43 appearances for the USMNT — figures to return to Italy before learning where his future lies. It certainly will not be at Leeds, where the fans demonstrated a lack of respect for the 24-year-old.
