Porto head coach Martin Anselmi complained about the decision to expel Eustaquio in the 3-2 defeat to Roma.
After the match, the Argentine coach spoke to Porto’s official broadcast.
“Two individual actions by Dybala ended up cancelling out our lead in six minutes and the result was flipped,” he said.
“We played a good first half and in the second we showed that we had an attitude, looking for the equaliser even with a one-goal difference.”
“Unfortunately Roma had Dybala who made the difference for them,” he added.
“The red card? Roma have good players, it would have been difficult enough with equal conditions and with one less from the 50th minute it became more difficult.”
“Despite this, we could have equalised and they should have had a player sent off too. It wasn’t a red on Eustaquio, a yellow was enough for each side. This completely affected the match.”
