Roberto Firmino bid an emotional farewell to Anfield on Saturday, making his last home appearance for Liverpool before he leaves the club at the end of the season.
The Reds announced recently that Firmino would be moving on as a free agent this summer and tributes were paid to him on his last home game, which turned out to be a disappointing 1-1 draw with Aston Villa.
Fittingly, however, it was substitute Firmino who grabbed the equaliser and he was an emotional and tearful figure after the game. The club paid tribute to him before the game, while fans did so throughout.
Firmino has been at Liverpool for eight seasons, scoring 110 goals in 361 appearances. He also played a big role in the club winning the Champions League in 2018/19 and the Premier League in 2019/20.
