The most fiercely contested Premier League title race in recent years is reaching its final stages, with Arsenal and Manchester City both fighting for the crown.
The Gunners’ draw at Anfield on Sunday leaves both sides in a position where they can secure their own destiny through their own results.
Arsenal are currently six points ahead with 30 games played, while Manchester City have played just 29 matches, so have a game in hand.
April 26 will see a do-or-die clash between the two teams take place at the Etihad Stadium. However, with Pep Guardiola‘s side having a game in hand and home-field advantage in the clash with Arsenal, they are seen to have control of the title race.
Guardiola‘s side are also currently ahead of Arsenal on goal difference so, in the event of a tie, it would be Manchester City who would finish top of the table.
