Tony Adams, Arsenal captain for 14 seasons, has blasted Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, saying that “arrogance and disrespect could cost [Pep] the Arsenal game and the Premier League title”.
According to Adams “if Guardiola doesn’t give Arsenal the respect they deserve, Bukayo Saka will smash his Manchester City“.
“I have no idea what Pep is trying to do with his defence this season and it’s almost like he’s trying to throw away the title,” Adams said.
Adams‘ advice to Guardiola is “stop Saka and stop Arsenal. It’s as simple as that”.
Tony Adams argues that “Guardiola has the ammunition to beat everyone, but there have been several occasions this season when he has tried to be too clever with his tactics and it has backfired”.
“With all the talent Guardiola has at his disposal, it should be a very straightforward job,” Adams said.
