Nicola Zalewski was spotted in Milan this evening, where he will complete his move from Roma to Inter on loan with option to buy for €6.5m.
Born and raised just outside Rome, but playing his international football for Poland in honour of his parents, Zalewski just turned 23 last month.
His contract with Roma only runs to June 30, so he must first extend that deal before he can then move to Inter on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Inter will pay €600,000 for the five-month loan with an option to buy for a further €6.5m.
Zalewski was not part of Claudio Ranieri’s Roma squad for the Serie A match against Napoli and was then caught on camera as he arrived in Milan this evening.
The versatile wide man can play as a wing-back or a full-back, so is well suited to Simone Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation.
He can also work on both the left and right flank, giving him added versatility, replacing Tajon Buchanan.
