Braun Strowman showed up on SmackDown last month and attempted to build some momentum, but an illness ruled him out last week. The Monster Among Men is expected to return as early as next week and could be up for a new challenge against The New Bloodline.
Braun Strowman seemingly started a feud with Solo Sikoa and Co. when he came to the aid of Sami Zayn and he could be out for revenge when he returns to SmackDown.
Even though a feud with Jacob Fatu would make sense here, Solo Sikoa could bring in another superstar to deal with The Monster of All Monsters. This superstar is Hikuleo, who has reportedly signed with WWE since the summer but has yet to show up either on NXT or the main roster.
There was speculation that Hikuleo would become part of The Bloodline civil war, but it might make more sense to bring him in as Tonga Loa’s replacement, who is out with an injury, and Braun Strowman’s next opponent, setting the stage for a match at WrestleMania 41.
Strowman can go after the individual members of The New Bloodline for a few weeks and decimate them repeatedly. This could cause Solo to bring out the big guy to go against Strowman. It would be the perfect debut match for the 6′ 8″ Hikuleo at ‘Mania and it would allow WWE to push him and make him a star member of The New Bloodline.
What could Braun Strowman do when he returns to SmackDown?
Braun Strowman returned to WWE in mid-December and showed up in two of the final episodes of 2024 on the blue brand. Upon his return on December 13, he took on Carmelo Hayes and dominated him, sending a message to the rest of the locker room.
A couple of weeks later, in the final SmackDown episode of 2024, he dominated Austin Theory but was beaten down by The New Bloodline when he came to the aid of Sami Zayn.
When he comes back, The Monster Among Men could go after Solo Sikoa and the rest of The New Bloodline members, seeking revenge for their assault a couple of weeks ago.
In addition, he could align with Sami Zayn and The Usos, who have unfinished business not only with The New Bloodline but also with Drew McIntyre, who lost to Jey Uso on the RAW premiere on Netflix.
