Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship for the second time by defeating The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) at WWE Bash in Berlin. Cargill was brutally attacked by a mystery assailant in November 2024 and has not returned since.
Naomi has replaced the former AEW star in the tag team with Belair, and the duo successfully defended the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Nia Jax and Candice LeRae earlier this month on SmackDown.
Major WWE star teases dream match against Bianca Belair
RAW star Rhea Ripley recently teased a potential dream match with Bianca Belair. The Eradicator is scheduled to battle Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship on WWE RAW’s debut on Netflix next Monday night.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter, Rhea Ripley noted that she did not have an issue with Belair at the moment. However, she added that she would love to have a match against her to see which of them was the better athlete.
“Look, I love Bianca Belair. I have no beef with Bianca Belair. I think she’s absolutely incredible at what she does. There’s that competitor side of me that wants to step in the ring with her. I wanna see who’s gonna come out victorious. I wanna see who’s stronger, who’s more agile. She might have me in the agile aspect, but stronger? I don’t know, we’re a little bit close.” [From 2:34 – 2:56]
