The WWE Universe recently took to social media to give their thoughts on a legendary seven-time champion’s return from a brutal injury. The name in question is none other than AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One has won the WWE Championship twice, the Intercontinental Championship once, the United States Championship thrice, and the RAW Tag Team Championship once.
In 2024, AJ Styles had several opportunities to dethrone Cody Rhodes as the Undisputed WWE Champion. However, despite putting on an incredible performance in each match, The Phenomenal One couldn’t capitalize on the opportunities.
Following a brief hiatus, Styles returned to television on the October 4, 2024, edition of SmackDown, where he locked horns with Carmelo Hayes. However, AJ suffered a foot injury and the match was called off. The former United States Champion later confirmed that he had a Lisfranc fracture. Since then he has been absent from television.
Amid rumors of his return to the Stamford-based promotion, Pro Wrestling Finesse‘s official X (fka Twitter) handle posted a photo of the star, writing that they were patiently waiting for his comeback.
