Will LA Knight form a faction in the WWE? He recently made a statement that sparks intrigue.
While it is not out of the realm of possibility in the future, The Megastar recently recounted when he proposed this idea to the management. This was when he was working in NXT and he had some names in mind too.
LA Knight signed with WWE in 2021, and by October he had debuted on NXT. He remained in the former black-and-gold brand for a year before moving to the main roster. In an interview with the YouTube channel WittyWhitter, Knight articulated what he had envisioned the faction would be like.
“You know, I had thought about this before, actually. I pitched this a few years ago, where I was like, I kind of want guys who are almost downtrodden, who have a lot of potential but haven’t really been used necessarily to the top of the potential. I don’t know who those would be now, I think I had names years ago when I was in NXT because I almost wanted to have this […] One guy at the front, and then there’s a lot of guys who are just like, ‘All right. Wait. This guy is going to be able to get me what I want. I will do anything for him,’ kind of an idea,” Knight said. [From 11:34 to 12:20]

Knight further expressed an out-of-left-field idea for a powerhouse team which could happen later. This includes a former rival of his.
LA Knight has an ongoing program with The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown
After losing the United States Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura at Survivor Series: WarGames in November, LA Knight was immediately plunged into a storyline with The Bloodline.
Solo Sikoa instigated this feud when he attacked The Megastar and Andrade. However, Sikoa gave Nakamura an opportunity to retreat, which The Wayward Samurai gladly accepted.
Where this program goes from here bears watching. Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa is heading for a massive collision course with his cousin, Roman Reigns. The two Superstars are scheduled to go head-to-head in a Tribal Combat Match on WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere on January 6.
