Michael Cole has become one of the biggest names in WWE and has quickly become an icon for his work in recent years. Now, the veteran looks set to change his name.
Pat McAfee took to his X (fka Twitter) account to reveal that he was having the best time with Cole and that the veteran commentator had proclaimed himself a “rap icon.” McAfee said he could not wait to “yeet” himself.
“Having a great time with self proclaimed ‘Rap Icon’ @MichaelCole in San Jose.. ‘I can’t wait to Yeet myself tonight’ 😂😂😂,” he wrote.
Michael Cole didn’t wait too long before replying to Pat McAfee’s tweet, saying he was still trying to figure out his new rap name and that he’d decided to make the change. The names under consideration were “Coleio” and “Lil Cole.” He added that he was ready to yeet all night long.
“Still trying to figure out whether or not my rap name should be ‘Coleio’ or ‘Lil Cole.’ I’m ready to Yeet ALLLLL NIGHT LONG,” responded Cole.
It’s safe to say that Jey Uso will have at least one friend in the RAW commentary booth, Michael Cole. Given McAfee’s work with Cole, the star may actually decide to change his name and make it one of the two he’s shortlisted. Both commentators are great friends and are known for making hilarious decisions when together.
