WWE has devoted a lot of time toward building Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa’s upcoming match, with Paul Heyman being in fine form on SmackDown. One line from The Wiseman, however, caught everyone off guard as even Dutch Mantell was left surprised.
Paul Heyman was in the building for SmackDown this week and, as expected, delivered a deeply engaging promo to hype up the battle for the Ula Fala. The former ECW boss acknowledged Roman Reigns as the real Tribal Chief and revealed Solo Sikoa had stolen the prestigious necklace from The Original Bloodline leader’s bag.
Sikoa would come out later and warn Heyman that after he beats Roman Reigns on the Netflix debut episode, Paul would have to be his Wiseman forever.
During their face-off, Heyman surprisingly claimed that he was seconds away from potentially “pissing his pants,” making Solo Sikoa look like an intimidating individual.
The particular line from Heyman wasn’t something Dutch Mantell expected the WWE manager to say. While speaking on Smack Talk, Mantell addressed Heyman’s promo and he loved every bit of it, especially the tensions between Paul and Solo.
Mantell, however, just had one issue with the segment, as he revealed below:
“That was good. You don’t expect him to say something like that. Ahh, but it was good. So, how did that end? He just left? I didn’t understand that; he just left. It leaves things open, but why did he leave?” [From 32:45 onwards]
Solo Sikoa will battle Roman Reigns on the highly-anticipated RAW debut on Netflix, and Paul Heyman might have a huge role to play in how the match pans out.
