Cora Jade is set to have a different look for next week’s WWE New Year’s Evil at Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, California. Jade has an opportunity to start the year right by becoming the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Two of Jade’s biggest influences are CM Punk and AJ Lee. She has incorporated some of Punk and Lee’s looks into her current gimmick. She previously had a skater character before turning heel and improving her work.
Another distinguishable part of Jade’s look is her tattoos, which can be seen mostly on her arms and chest. Her very first ink was inspired by Lee, and her body art grew from there.
On her Instagram Story, Cora Jade shared images of her newest tattoo on her left forearm. It features a snake in the middle of floral designs in black and gray colors. You can look at her newest ink below.
It was done by tattoo artist Eddie Saraiva, who is based in Orlando, Florida. His specialty is bold and solid tattoos, and his studio’s called Eternal Devotion Tattoos.
Cora Jade’s first tattoo was inspired by AJ Lee
As mentioned above, AJ Lee was one of Cora Jade’s biggest influences growing up as a big wrestling fan. Jade spoke with El Brunch de WWE in January 2022 and revealed that her very first tattoo was inspired by Lee.
The Sorceress of Sin got her first ink at the age of 17, and she got a lightning bolt on her wrist. Lee wore a bolt necklace during her active pro wrestling career, which had a profound effect on Jade.
“The first one was this lightning bolt on my wrist. I got it. I think I was 17. It was my first one. I thought it was such a big deal at the time, but it’s so small now but I got it because AJ Lee was my favorite and she always wore a bolt necklace and it was just like an inspiration reminder it was before I got here I just like to look down and you know be reminded of inspiration. Small little first one for me,” Jade said. [H/T: Fightful]
Jade also shared that her favorite tattoo at that point was a wrestling ring behind her ear. It meant a lot to her because the craft has been her passion since she was a kid.
