The Rock hasn’t been seen since WWE Bad Blood, but he is penciled in for a return on Netflix’s premiere of RAW. But, before he can make his presence felt in the red brand’s new home, he has made another public appearance alongside his daughter Ava.
The 17-time WWE champion was spotted with NXT’s general manager at the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards. Taking place at the Beverley Hilton in Beverley Hills, California, both father and daughter were dressed to impress.
Ava was seen sporting an entirely black outfit, while her father, The Final Boss, was the exact opposite. Sporting some light colors, The Rock wore a lavender suit, along with a lavender silk shirt and some black trousers.
It was an interesting time for The People’s Champ to step out and about, especially with his confirmed return to WWE less than 24 hours away. You can check out the photo, as posted on Niko Adams’ Instagram, down below.
The 52-year-old attended the awards, as his movie, Moana 2, was nominated for Best Motion Picture. Now though, fans will be looking forward to seeing what he does in the Intuit Dome at RAW on Netflix.
The Rock now owns shares in TKO worth an estimated $41.25 million
The Rock isn’t called The Final Boss for no reason. He received the nickname right around WrestleMania season last year after it was announced he had joined TKO Group’s board of directors. Now though, it seems he has further increased his stake in the company, making the monicker that much more relevant.
According to PWInsider, The People’s Champ acquired 96,557 shares of TKO stock as part of the initial deal that made him a board member. This information was included in the SEC filing the group released last Friday. This means he now owns 289,673 shares, worth an estimated $41.25 million.
It will be interesting to see whether or not this affects his position in the company in any way. After all, it is a big money move. Hopefully, this is a sign of bigger and better things to come.
