WWE has started the new year with a bang, with several big things transpiring on the very first SmackDown of 2025. The company will look to build on the recent momentum in the coming week.
As fans must be aware, WWE RAW will be moving to Netflix this week. The company has announced a stacked lineup for Monday’s show. Fans should expect RAW’s debut on Netflix to be grand, eventful, and full of surprises.
Meanwhile, SmackDown could also have some big things in store for fans this week. It will be of interest to see what happens next in the ongoing programs on the blue brand following the latest episode.
On that note, here are four bold predictions for WWE RAW and SmackDown this week:
#4. Becky Lynch could return to help Seth Rollins against CM Punk on WWE RAW
Seth Rollins will lock horns with CM Punk on WWE RAW’s Netflix debut. The Visionary could win the clash due to his wife, Becky Lynch’s interference.
Big Time Becks has been away from WWE since her loss against Liv Morgan back in May 2024. However, Becky is rumored to return on WWE RAW’s Netflix debut.
If The Man does return, she could play an instrumental role in helping her husband Seth Rollins defeat CM Punk. This potential angle could then lay down the breadcrumbs for Punk’s wife, AJ Lee’s potential return to WWE.
#3. Nia Jax could brutalize Tiffany Stratton
Tiffany Stratton successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Nia Jax and win the Women’s Championship last week. However, The Buff Barbie could face her former friend’s wrath this week on SmackDown.
Tiffany’s betrayal is bound to anger Nia. The real-life Bloodline member could look to exact revenge on Stratton on SmackDown. Nia Jax could blindside Tiffy before launching a brutal attack on her. The veteran could send a message to The Buff Barbie by decimating her on the blue brand’s show this week.
#2. The Fiend could return
The Wyatt Sicks has been on a hiatus since their loss to The Final Testament. However, the heel stable could return with a new leader this week on RAW.
Bo Dallas, who is the face behind the Uncle Howdy character, could undergo a massive character change. Given Uncle Howdy was the one to eat the pin against The Final Testament, Bo could ditch the Howdy character to revive The Fiend.
Dallas could return as The Fiend in honor of his late brother, Bray Wyatt, and take over the leash of The Wyatt Sicks.
#1. Roman Reigns’ new Enforcer and Right Hand Man
Roman Reigns will take on Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat on Monday’s WWE RAW. However, potential interference from The New Bloodline seems high during the match. Given that, the OTC may have a master plan to counter that.
Roman could have Zilla Fatu and Lance Anoa’i appear on the show to help him even the odds against Solo’s Bloodline. While Zilla is the son of the late great Umaga, Lance is wrestling veteran Samu’s son.
Both real-life Bloodline members have been rumored to join The Bloodline program for quite some time, and that may finally happen this Monday night. Roman Reigns could recruit Zilla as his new Enforcer, while Lance could be the new Right Hand Man of the Original Tribal Chief.
The duo could appear on Monday night to help the OTC prevail over The Street Champion for the honor of being the rightful Tribal Chief as well as get back the Ula Fala.
