Sami Zayn defeats former 2-time WWE Champion with a rare finish on RAW

Sami Zayn competed against former WWE Champion The Miz on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW. He won the match using a move that he rarely wins with.

During the show, The A-Lister and Karrion Kross were having a conversation backstage when they bumped into Zayn, who was looking for RAW General Manager Adam Pearce. The Miz said some negative things to Sami, and the latter went to Pearce to get a match with him.

During the bout, The Miz hit a few punches in the corner and delivered a knee to his opponent’s midsection, followed by a kick. The former WWE Champion hit another kick and a knee to Zayn’s spine.

Sami Zayn fought back with several jabs and a clothesline. He sent The Miz to the corner and hit a few more punches. Zayn sent his opponent to the corner with an exploder but The A-Lister spiked him on the mat with a DDT, which got a two-count.

The Miz did the ‘It Kicks,’ and Sami Zayn tried to go for the Blue Thunderbomb, but Miz avoided it. Miz tried to perform the Skull Crushing Finale, but Sami reversed it to a cover. Zayn hit the Helluva Kick out of nowhere and planted The Miz with the Blue Thunderbomb to win the match via pinfall. He finally won a match with the move.
