Tiffany Stratton to get badly injured; Jade Cargill’s attacker revealed? – 4 directions for Nia Jax following WWE SmackDown

WWE Friday Night SmackDown aired on the USA Network not long ago and it was an incredibly important episode. Not only was it the first edition of the blue brand in 2025, but it was the start of the three-hour era.

With the big move came more time for major matches and several stories, but the most interesting piece of business came during and after a world title match. Nia Jax went one-on-one with Naomi with the belt on the line, but Tiffany Stratton came out seemingly to cash in.

Instead, she shockingly cost Naomi the win and seemingly plotted alongside Candice LeRae and Nia Jax. Immediately after, however, Tiffany cashed in after smashing both women with the briefcase. After the Prettiest Moonsault Ever, Tiffany won the gold.

Needless to say, this was a tough night for Nia. She went from having an amazing match to losing her world title. So, now the question becomes, what’s next? This article will take a look at a handful of directions for the now-former world champion.

#4. She could move to Monday Night RAW

WWE Monday Night RAW is undergoing major changes. The longest-running program the company has to offer is moving to Netflix and will be premiering on the streaming service this Monday.

Following Nia Jax’s upsetting loss on WWE SmackDown, she might decide enough was enough and it was time for a change. As a result, The Queen of the Ring might jump ship to the red brand.

With the Transfer Window still in effect, it would explain a move easily. From there, she can feud with the likes of IYO SKY, Zelina Vega, Rhea Ripley, and Lyra Valkyria, among others, on Monday Night RAW each week.

#3. Nia Jax could attack and injure WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton pulled off the swerve of a lifetime on WWE SmackDown this week. After saving Nia Jax and helping her retain the world title, fans were shocked and upset, fearing Tiffany was going to remain Nia’s lapdog moving forward.

Instead, Tiffany made a statement by laying out both Nia and Candice LeRae, two stars who have made her life miserable in recent weeks. She then won the WWE Women’s Title. Pyro went off and Stratton had an incredible moment. Unfortunately, it might also spell her demise.

In the near future, Nia Jax may get her revenge on The Buff Barbie. Tiffy Time may end soon because Nia might jump the new champion and brutally assault her. From there, Jax could injure TIffany and even force the new champion to vacate her title. This would be sweet revenge for The Queen of the Ring.

#2. She could chase after the Women’s Tag Team Titles

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles had a tough run for several years. After getting initial attention when the belts were first introduced, the titles then fell into a state of apathy and indifference. This was due to uninspired booking and injuries, among other issues.

That changed in 2024, however. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles had a great year thanks to the likes of Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and The Unholy Union, among others. The belts felt important and were regularly defended and showcased.

With Nia Jax no longer the world champion, she and Candice LeRae could focus solely on the tag team gold moving forward. Candice and Nia could take on Naomi and Bianca Belair in a rematch from their recent bout, now without Tiffany Stratton around to mess things up. Could Jax and LeRae win the coveted titles?

#1. Jax could be revealed as Jade Cargill’s attacker

Jade Cargill is one of the most powerful and impressive superstars in WWE. She started her wrestling career in All Elite Wrestling but jumped ship towards the end of 2022. She has since risen to new heights.

Unfortunately, she has reached new lows too. Jade was found injured on an episode of WWE SmackDown where she was battered and brutalized on the top of a car by a mystery assailant. She has been off WWE TV ever since.

Jade’s attacker is yet to be revealed, which could be where Nia Jax comes in. Jade could return and tell everyone it was The Queen of the Ring who brutally attacked her. This could then lead to Jax and Jade clashing at a major event, perhaps at Saturday Night’s Main Event or Elimination Chamber in Canada.
