[WATCH] CM Punk forced to break character after 33-year-old star’s actions in the ring at recent event

A popular 33-year-old WWE Superstar recently forced CM Punk to break character during the company’s 2024 Live Holiday Tour. The popular star being referred to is Alpha Academy’s Otis.

Since returning to World Wrestling Entertainment at Survivor Series: WarGames 2023, Punk has given fans one of the biggest feuds of 2024 alongside Drew McIntyre. The arch-rivals faced each other thrice with The Second City Saint taking two wins over The Scottish Warrior. However, The Best in the World is now in a heated feud with Seth Rollins and the duo is all set to lock horns in a dream match on RAW’s Netflix Debut on January 6, 2025.

Ahead of this much-anticipated clash, The Straight Edge Superstar recently wrestled a few matches during WWE’s Live Holiday Tour. Following one of his recent bouts, a fan uploaded a video where the former World Heavyweight Champion can be seen celebrating with Rey Mysterio.

In the clip, Otis can also be seen hugging Punk, during which the latter jokingly pretended that he was getting hurt. However, he eventually broke character to enjoy the moment with the Alpha Academy member.

WWE personality believes CM Punk could “cheat and win” against Seth Rollins

Since CM Punk and Seth Rollins started feuding, many people believe The Visionary might finally turn heel in 2025.

During a recent edition of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE personality Sam Roberts said the only reason not to turn Rollins heel was if Punk’s character changed after their match on RAW’s Netflix debut.

Roberts also mentioned that he believed The Best in the World could turn heel by cheating and winning the match with some form of interference.

“There’s one way for Seth Rollins not to become a villain in this rivalry, CM Punk becomes a villain. Does CM Punk cheat and win the match? Does somebody interfere?” Roberts said.

It will be interesting to see who will come out on top between The Second City Saint and The Visionary on RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025.
