WWE RAW’s premiere on Netflix on January 6 features the Tribal Combat fight for the Ula Fala between Roman Reigns and self-proclaimed Tribal Chief Solo Sikoa. It’s not just the sacred necklace, Paul Heyman’s fate will also be on the line, as Solo said that Heyman will have to move with him if he beats Roman Reigns.
However, the fans might see a surprise return of a WWE Hall of Famer who may replace Heyman. The legend is none other than Rikishi, Solo’s father. The 59-year-old has not appeared in the company in four years. The last time he was seen at the Stamford-based promotion was at Survivor Series 2020 during The Undertaker’s retirement ceremony.
Moreover, Rikishi coming back and holding the Ula Fala during the Tribal Combat would be suitable as he is not only trustworthy but also family. Further, the veteran has also been speaking on The Bloodline Saga in the recent past and backing Solo largely. He could even make a shocking return to cause outside interference in the match and help out his son.
Speaking on his Off The Top podcast, the Hall of Famer recently said that he saw Solo Sikoa as a World Champion in 2025.
“It’s his time to eat. He’s been out for a minute, perfecting the craft, waited his turn, waited for his opportunity. 2025, I see Solo Sikoa, WWE Champion,” Rikishi said. [H/T: Fightful Select]
Earlier, there were also speculations that Rikishi could also return as the Wiseman of Sikoa’s Bloodline at Survivor Series. However, that didn’t come to fruition. Now, the 59-year-old icon can return on RAW’s debut episode on Netflix, and crown his son as the real Tribal Chief.
Solo Sikoa confronts Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown
On this week’s episode of SmackDown, Solo Sikoa confronted Paul Heyman.
He told the Wiseman in clear terms that on January 6, if he wins the bout against Roman Reigns, Heyman will have no choice but to acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief.
And not just acknowledging, Heyman will have to become Wiseman of his Bloodline forever if Solo becomes the Tribal Chief. Lest we forget, Solo had brutally attacked Heyman last year when he refused to acknowledge him.
It remains to be seen which side Heyman ends up representing after January 6.
